Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has denied knowledge of one Iniobong Ekpo, a final year Agricultural Engineering student of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), who was suspended and later expelled by the senate of the institution for allegedly abusing the governor on social media.
Ekpo, a 500 level student of the department of Agricultural Engineering was suspended in September, 2020, under the regime of the immediate past vice chancellor, Professor Eno Ibanga, and later expelled by the institution’s management for alleged acerbic remarks against Emmanuel’s administrative style on the social media.
