(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has selected a leader for a new state agency. Tikki Brown was nominated to lead the newly created Department of Children, Youth, and Families. She has worked in the Department of Human Services for more than 20 years. The new department, which focuses on child development and day care, will open on July 1.
