Greece edge past Hungary to top group at women's water polo Olympic qualifiers

Greece narrowly defeated Hungary to top Group B at the Women's Water Polo Olympic Games Qualification Tournament in Trieste.
The two teams went into the clash at the Bruno Bianchi Aquatic Center having won both of their opening games. 
Eleftheria Plevritou scored three goals to help Greece to an 8-5 victory. 
The final game of the preliminary stage was also in Group B and was another low-scoring affair.
The spoils were shared between Israel and Kazakhstan after their match ended 7-7.
The Netherlands defeated France but could not top Group A due to inferior goal difference ©FINA
