The heart is back in Grimsby with the opening of St James' Square after a £1.8million makeover.
North East Lincolnshireâs new mayor, Councillor David Hasthorpe led the first official walk through the square and walked into the central labyrinth.
He declined a game of hopstotch with mayoress Sandra Hasthorpe on the etched pathway to the minster.
He said: "It looks magnificent. You can just hear the the many children who will come and play here.
