A county councillor has condemned graffiti which he believes is the work of someone "seeking to sow fear and division in a community".
Police and other local authorities are aware of graffiti which has been scrawled in parts of South Oxhey over the last couple of weeks.
'White Pride' has been stamped in white capital letters on a green building in Prestwick Road.
Meanwhile, the letters 'BNP' have been scrawled more recently on a wall a little further down the road.
