FLINT, MI — Parents are preparing to send Michigan students back to school.
After months of virtual learning, many K-12 schools are planning to open on March 1 or soon after.
Students, teachers and staff will have many new routines to start face-to-face learning. There will be a new look inside of their schools that they’ve never encountered before COVID-19.
On Jan. 8, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has “strongly encouraged” schools to offer an option for in-person instruction “no later than March 1.″
Take a look through the gallery above, as we explore one school — McMonagle Elementary School in Mt. Morris Township north of Flint — that shows what to expect when walking through the doors.
