New data has revealed that at least 230 LGBTQIA+ athletes have competed in the Olympics since the Winter and Summer Games kicked off in 1896.
According to research by Online Gambling, LGBTQIA+ athletes, some of which were out at the time and some who weren't, have won 93 gold medals, 75 silver medals and 61 bronze medals. As for the most successful LGBTQIA+ athletes in Olympic history, Dutch speed skater
