India to get advanced 'eye in the sky' ahead of I-Day with Gisat-1 launch on August 12

The pandemic delayed the launch of the new-series geo-satellite, which has civilian and strategic importance, several times since last year. Isros GSLV-F10 rocket will finally put the 2,268-kg Gisat-1, codenamed EOS-3, into the geo-orbit.
