AN event is set to be music to the ears as people enjoy a gradual easing of lockdown restrictions.
Tea on the Square – on Saturday, July 3 – will be Keighley Town Council’s first event of the year.
Old-time music will be performed by Melissa Harper and Pete Jones.
And performing arts school Bolt Academy, with its choir, will entertain.
The free event – at Town Hall Square – will be opened at 1pm by the town mayor, Councillor Julie Adams.
Activities will run until 4pm.
Tea and cake will be available for a donation to the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, Manorlands.
Cllr Adams said: “We are truly excited to be hosting Tea on the Square.
