Also new this morning a big fire at west coast aquatics swim center in snl. It was in the parking lot of a swim center on backes drive. An officer in town to assist with the canceled events in berkeley had two guns stolen from his vehicle outside the black bear diner in oakland. His department in taft doesnt have set rules for how officers store handguns, state law says officers have to lock away those guns in cars or face a fine. This is just the latest in a string of bay area incidents where thieves have stolen firearms from an officers week video. The Concord City Council expects to vote on an issue to protect undocumented immigrants. The goal is to build trust between police and immigrants. We just got some new information. We have learned the officer is okay. The officer was hospitalized and released only a short time ago. Meanwhile, the other driver involved was arrested and taken to the Santa Clara County jail suspected of driving under the influence. Take a look at this video out of south l. A.
