One, a man in his 90s with Underlying Health conditions in serious condition. The other a woman in her 40s, in fair condition. Let me be very clear. This virus does not discriminate. Stigma and discrimination is unacceptable in this time when we need to come together as a community to protect Public Health. Health officials do not know how either were exposed to the virus, suggesting it is spreading through the community. We have been planning this for weeks. And so we are prepared as city. The patients families have been notified and theyre notifying what contacts the patients had to prevent the virus spread. San francisco is also preparing for the possibility of a princess cruise ship to dock with more than 2,000 passengers and one thousand crewmembers of which 35 have shown flulike symptoms during a 15day cruise.
