The clip was shown on anchor jake tappers show the lead calling it kind of enraging to see people ignoring the shelter in place and social distancing guidelines. Many people on social media pointed out that the video was not a fair representation and mayor breed appeared on cnns the situation room to respond. This is not about a vacation, but if people are in the same household, they dont necessarily to keep the members from members of their household. It would be impossible for them to do that. The county health said he didnt think it was necessary and it would cause unnecessary panic but now the county has decided to join the rest of the bay area and issued an order. Nonessential businesses are now closed. Restaurants can be open for take out and delivery only. Child care centers can remain open, but need to practice social distancing. But other businesses like bars and movie theaters are closed and no visitor are allowed at hospitals or nursing homes. I was surprised that it took them that long to issue the order. I dont know how i feel about that. Like staying home all day long. Im sure we can still like go out and to the parks and stuff. Affecting all these other counties and starting to spread and eventually going to have to come here and i think it is to keep everybody safe. Solano county is home to Travis Air Force base which has been a quarantine location. Americans evacuated from wuhan, china, and those on the grand princess cruise ship have been here. One of the first cases of Community Spread that one happened in late february. This county has eight known cases of coronavirus. The shelter at home order is in effect until 11 59 p. M. On april 7th. The news iteam has confirmed that three residents of the San Mateo County assisted living facility have tested positive for coronavirus and they have been transferred to the hospital. San Mateo County Health says its investigating how the coronavirus infected the residents. The assisted living facility is closed to visitors and family. The iteam spoke with a woman whose parents are residents there. The families are freaking out. And also because they cant see their loved ones. They cant see them physically, at all. We dont know when we will. That is tough. Another family of an atria resident provided these emails that the faculty sent out and they said the residents that have coronavirus went to the hospital this past thursday, friday and sunday. The remaining residents are restricted to their apartments and their meals are being delivered to them. Last night atrias headquarters in washington, d. C. , sent a statement revealing that three more residents from the burlinggame facility are in the hospital awaiting their covid19 test results. The health and well being of atria residents and employees is our first priority. You can read their entire statement. Congress to pass a 1 trillion economic package. It would help companies and americans affected by the coronavirus pandemic and all of this comes as two members of congress have now tested positive for the virus. Heres abc News Reporter alex.
