I voted against and some see them as a less lethal option, commissioner bill hing compressed concern about them being used on minorities or the homeless and he said the commissions next role is important. The Police Commission will play a big role between now and the actual implementation. Now we come up with the rules and the guidelines. Reporter in a statement, San Francisco police indicated that the department will submit a policy to the Commission Based on best practice and experts and research adding the ced policy will be a thoughtful document t ha community and will include requirements for robust training and strong supervision and reporting and accountability.
