Reporter the bond holder also present plans to a federal bankruptcy judge in San Francisco later this morning. Lets talk about what the insurers plans are. Theyd like to end pg es exclusive right to follow reorganization plan after the utility filed for bankruptcy in january, with an estimated 30 billion in liabilities from the wildfires between 2017 to 2018. Now under the insurers plan theyd convert nearly 20 billion in wildfire loss claims into new stock that give him a large share of the company and plan to establish what they call a wellfunded trust for victims. The bond holders will request permission from that federal judge later today to submit their reorganization plan and theyre seeking to invest more than 30 billion into the company. Now they would set aside 16 billion in a trust to pay claims for wildfire ctg e claims that significant progress towards reorganization of the company that will compensate those wildfire victims and protect customer rates. They arent keen onned t the id saying it could make the bankruptcy long and drawn out. Pg e is resisting giving up exclusive rights but they have until september 26 to submit a plan.
