In addition to those cases there are six other cases in northern california, but those patients did not come from the cruise ship. Were talking about two in santa clara county. They traveled from china, the wuhan area or came in contact with someone who did. There is positive news. We know three of the six have recovered fully, raj. A warning tonight from the cdc, be ready for an outbreak here in the u. S. So far efforts to contain the virus in the u. S. Have included restricting travel to and from china which is the center of the outbreak. The cdc is worried were going to see more cases here as new cases surge in countries outside of asia. Its not so much a question of if this will happen any more, but rather more a question of exactly when this will happen and how many people in this country will become infected. Reporter this is not seismically safe. We received information from valley water on what would happen if this dam would break. It would be disastrous especially this close to the calaveras fault. The question is is there a way to buy more time to fix the dam. One expert predicts there are 8 billion gallons of water in Anderson Reservoir now. The fear is in a major earthquake, water from the crumbling dam would kill thousands of people down below in morgan hill and eventually san jose. So federal regulators just ordered valley water to begin draining the reservoir. They are thinking about expediting this project as quickly and safely and efficient as possible. Reporter an engineer visited the dam to see if the outlet valve is the only option or if there is another way to pump out or drain the water, and can the water be stored somewhere else. All options will take time and a lot of money. Its not realistic. Its dangerous. Reporter the state capital via face time today, ash cal ra said it would take an unrealistic time line. They will expedite the process to retrofit the dam. Im hopeful we can delay or change their mind on this to go through the process we are going through which is an urgent process. Reporter but regulators tell me theres no appealing the order from the agency. Its final. There are no plans now to transfer any of this water to any of the adjacent reservoirs.
