The department of social services has filed the paperwork that immediately suspends the operating license of happy happy home daycare and requests permanent revocation of the license along with 11,000 in penalties against the operators. The inhome daycare had previously received six citations for deficiencies ranging from too many infants during an inspection to not document the monitoring of sleeping children and lack of criminal record clearance for an employee. This time, state regulars are requesting the license to be revoked. Based on what happened in the pool, and the area listed as being offlimits during the prelicensing evaluation. The allegations state that respondents failed to ensure that the pool was inaccessible at the facility, which caused the death of the two children.
