Reporter according to the district attorneys office, 3monthold phoenix castro, whose body was found in an apartment littered with opioids in may, be died of a fentanyl overdose. The maternal grandmother and uncle faced the victims father in court. We came to support, the death of my two indigenous relatives. Reporter phoenixs father is charged with child neglect and possession of a controlled substance. The mother was not home at the time and died of an overdose last month according to prosecutors. Somebody dropped the ball and they need to pick up the tab for it. Whether it was social services, regardless, somebody has to be held accountable. We did our damndest. Reporter Child Protective Services made several visits and never removed the child from the home. Theyre asking to investigate the role in the babys death. We wanted to all be sure that we not only built the homes again, that was obviously important, and we wanted to make sure there was longterm housing security and those homes were affordable, but we wanted them to be high quality and beautiful. The tubbs fire destroyed 2,800 homes in the city of santa rosa including 162 mobile homes at journeys end. Former residents have been given priority to apply for these new housing units. This fire warning, on and off gusts 20 to 50. Low humidity, 5 to 25 . Most of the weekend well be dealing with the on and off wind gusts. The hourly forecast here so you can plan around it this weekend and through tomorrow its not that bad for most of us. It will start to bubble up across the mountains right near the north bay, that red magenta color. The wind would be more widespread saturday afternoon.
