It is a transportation company. The state law and the coronavirus pandemic. They both claim that the drivers are not engaged in the companys core mission. They say the company is in violation of 85 state laws that require them to classify the drivers as employees not independent contractors. They have to be collaborative. And they need to make it easier and not harder for them to quickly start earning. Both of these companies will fight the lawsuit and they are both working toward the November Ballot measure.
