Videos of this incident blew up on social media after a Black Boat Captain was assaulted by a group of white men. Many social media commentators noted the racial makeup of the attackers. This was the boat that was trying to dock for more than 40 minutes which led to what many people are calling melee in montgomery. A viral boatside brawl that was all hands on deck. Video taken by eyewitnesses show damien pickett, cocaptain of a large river boat, asking a group to move their pontoon so the riverboat could dock in its assigned space. [shouting] they refuse and attack pickett, wrestling him to the ground while punching and kicking him. Picketts coworkers and others rushed to his aid including 16yearold Aaron Rudolph who jumped into the water and swam to help. Once the river boat docked, the fight escalated.
