That matters for tomorrow. It deepens the marine layer and it also elevates it a little more and it gives a little more lift so that we are now getting some rain that is developing within it. That means we are going to get some marine layer misting across the coast wednesday morning and into wednesday afternoon. I hesitate to call this rain because it does not add up to a big total but it does accumulate over time in a light, study way. If you are in the east bay tomorrow, you will encounter that her wednesday. Then, we never really warmup a whole lot wednesday or thursday. Friday is different. Friday, there is a totally separate system coming our way from across the pacific. A more traditional way we would get rain if we are getting rain out of this. It is a weak little storm. It is really remnants of what so many of the winter storms were over the course of the last couple of months. Notice how it barely holds together. If we go into the longrange forecast model, you can see there will be light rain that holds together and maybe gives us a light shower on friday. Here is the perspective. Much might that be . Not a lot. In fact, if we look at what the potential accumulated rainfall amounts would be, we are really only talking about a couple hundredths of an inch of rain a. It really would not be much at all. We can see what the Current System is doing, keeping it a little breezy with the onshore wind from that but as we get to that system thursday and friday, you will see it is a little different. Northerly winds come down. It will be a slightly stronger onshore wind on friday but it does not look terribly intense. That system does not have a whole lot to it. Lets put it in the 7day forecast. We know that friday has a drop of rain on it. We just saw why. When we are done with that, we get into the weekend. We get more blue sky than anything else and temperatures that will warm back up into the mid70s. Coming up, we celebrate National Volunteers week locally here in the bay area.
