I do want to go to some of the video because i was up on that hill earlier this evening and if it werent for the cell signal, wed be going live up there right now. You can see those flames and just how close they were to some of the homes earlier this afternoon, at one point between 30 to 50 feet from those homes on woodley place, but they have since dissipated at this point and even gone in the other direction a bit and the good news this evening is the fact the wind is not nearly as strong as it was earlier this afternoon in this area. Most of the people have been evacuated from here. I mean it was a mandatory evacuation. I did talk with a couple people who chose not to leave despite that mandatory evacuation. They advised us get out now and i said we will be ready to go if we think were in jeopardy and they were insistent and we said, you know, bear with us. We want to stay as long as we can. Its really sad. Its so sad. We love oakmont. Weve been here for almost 20 years. We really love it. Its so sad. Reporter and back out here live you can see those flames in the distance, but i do want to give you some perspective here. You see them up there and there are some firefighters closely monitoring that situation. Then we come back onto the street and i want to zoom into this area right here where there are also some more flames. Hard to seem, though, and there are also more see, though, and there are also more flames to my left. Just to recap the new information were learning is that one home in this oakmont area did burn, not on the street where i am, but on trail ridge and that is a confirmation coming from firefighters within the last 30 minutes. Now back to you two in the studio. Good look to nick beltrano and his wife eileen. We are tracking evacuations in the Bennett Valley including Mountain Ridge road and Enterprise Road and well give you a live report in 30 minutes. Heres a closer look at the wildfires burning tonight in Sonoma County, the nun fire threatening the oakmont area where j. R. Has been reporting all evening. That fire is also near highway 12 north of glen ellen which is about 10 miles east of santa rosa. Ridge state pa the crane also in that area the Sugar Loaf Ridge state park down to the crane creek regional park. The tubbs fire is one of the most destructive. That is the fire that went across highway 101 in santa rosa damaging so many homes and businesses. It has burned roughly 27,000 acres. There is no containment tonight. 550 homes have been destroyed and 21 commercial buildings have been burned. Tonight in Sonoma County the sheriff says that they are looking into 183 reports of missing persons, but theres some good news here. Theyve got a special group searching for missing persons. They found 54 in the course of just this day. Yeah. And that team is devoted to finding people missing or unaccounted for. Some of this is also because of the lack of cell phone coverage in the area. Many people left home without their cell phones or theres no coverage, period. One of the missing people is a mother in santa rosa. She lives in the journeys end mobile home park. That park was severely damaged in the wildfire. Spoke to the ns our dan kerman joins us live and dan actually talked to this womans daughter. Reporter thats right. Linda tunis lived here in a doublewide mobile home and theres nothing left of it. In fact, most of this park was wiped out. Now her daughter is looking to see if she survived this fire. Her front door and backdoor, she said there was fire everywhere. She couldnt get out and she was trapped. Reporter Jessica Tunis has not heard from her mother linda since a frantic phone call early monday morning. Shes coughing. Shes terrified and she last thing she said to me is im going to die. Reporter thats when the line went dead and tunis has been searching for her 69year old mother ever since. Linda tunis moved from florida in january and lived in the journeys end mobile home park, most of which was leveled in monday mornings firestorm. Some residents like pat burke made it to safety thanks to the knock on a door from a neighbor. Im safe and warm and okay. Its devastating that, you know, were okay, were alive and thats the main thing. Reporter Jessica Tunis is hoping somebody knocked on her mothers door as well. Thats why her boy friend john has been crisscrossing the north bay visiting evacuation shelters hoping to find linda. Theres just so much unknown and so much suffering right now, you know, that i just feel like if were not out there trying that were just going to get lost in the flood of misery. Reporter so far no luck, but theyre going to continue to search. Theyre going to move more north of santa rosa, also to the south until they hear something. In santa rosa, dan kerman, kron 4 news. Dan, thank you. One of the neighborhoods weve been showing you hit hard by the wildfires, the Fountain Grove community in santa rosa. Thats just one of many devastated communities tonight. Kron 4s Justine Waldman spent a little time in the park and you talked to people who lost just about everything. Reporter right now were in coffey park. Im standing in what used to be someones driveway, their melted garage door on my right, their burnt car on my left and yes, some people were allowed to go back home today in Fountain Grove on the other side of 101 to see what, if anything, was left. Its still shocking to see the devastation here in santa rosa. I think my sons stuffed animals are the hardest ones because they have a pretty deep meaning for him. All the other stuff you can replace and buy. All of us got out okay, our dog and everything. So thats the most important part. Yeah, exactly. Theres a lot of stories to be told here. Reporter so all that that man was able to save from his home was a hot mortar from his kitchen, a bike part and a knife. Well come back out here live here in coffey park and i do want to talk about the massive amount of Police Presence that i have seen out here today and police from all jurisdictions from across the bay area, even just sitting here for the past two hours working on these stories to bring you tonight here on kron 4 news at 8 00, 9 00 and 10 00 we have been stopped by Police Officers from San Francisco, santa rosa, redwood city, the chp. I met officers from campbell and san mateo today, all of them out in neighborhoods protecting the homes that are Still Standing because there are so many looters that are out there trying to take advantage of people who are dealing with Something Like this. Pam and steve, ill send it back to you now. A shame that has to happen, but were grateful for their service. We just mentioned that was just one of many hard hit communities. Still ahead we are going to take you to the other side of highway 101 in santa rosa and show you whats going on there. Also were taking a closer look at businesses which have been damaged. Yummmm. Dennys new holiday pancakes are delicious. You guys can have some if you want. Order now at dennys. Com pam a north Bay High School suspending class for at least the rest of the we a north Bay High School suspending class at least the rest of the week after the campus burned. Cardinal Newman High School in santa rosa is one of the many structures hit by the tubbs fire. This is all that is left of the front entrance. Youll see the melted sheet metal that collapsed to the ground, only vague outlines of the school remaining. The high school once sat off of old redwood highway, but now not much is left after witnesses say a wall of fire ripped through the school. The principal says more than 20 classrooms are gone. The library is gone, wild out. The main entrance is decimated. Going forward the principal told kron 4 they will need to meet off site to figure out a plan for classes moving forward. They say that they must take into account that a lot of the students have lost their homes. One possibility is to do online classes, but again theyre going to have to sort all that out over the coming days. So many neighborhoods have been wiped out because of that tubbs fire and that fire is still pushing out of control at this hour. Kron 4s terekssacio spent the day in this neighborhood. Reporter behind me you can see this street is completely leveled and the homes on the next street leveled as well and it goes on and on all because of those ferocious fires that ripped through the entire area. The row of chimneys haunting, practically the only thing that the eye can see to distinguish where homes once stood. These are houses ive seen my whole life since i came to high school here. Its stunning that theyre gone, that theyve just been all burned out and that so little survived. Im just amazed at how it could be that powerful and destructive the. Reporter Graham Rutherford is principal at cardinal Newman High School. The school lost classrooms, a library and office, but rutherford said he feels fortunate. Many buildings remain on the large campus, but that is not true of the neighborhoods surrounding the school. This was the scene down the street. At this home wheelchairs abandoned on the front lawn. Once well tended landscaping blackened. This wine bar in shambles. Chairs where locals and visitors sat and took in the beautiful scenery of wine country reduced to charred rubble and take a look at all thats left of these apartment homes. On the website the owner called it quaint and quiet with a parklike setting but not now. Now families that lived here are homeless. The twostory complex on the ground like a crushed lego set. Cars abandoned and consumed by flames sit nearly unrecognizable from what they once were. Crews did show up on tuesday to try and begin the long, arduous work of removing downed power, phone and cable lines that litter the streets. Businesses ny homes my brother is a firefighter and he says yeah, fire is an amazing thing and when it gets going, it just takes everything out of the way. Reporter residents are not being allowed to come back here even though so many want to come back and start to sift through what is left of their homes. Law enforcement Officials Say its just simply not safe. You saw in my story how the power lines are still down on the streets and there are still some hotspots burning. So until those issues are dealt with its just simply not safe for people to come back here. Not only homes, so many businesses burned to the ground in these fires, both the kmart store and porte villarte restaurant burned to the ground, but one restaurant plans to stay open to feed the people reported by the fires. Reporter matt mendez is live in santa rosa with that story tonight. Reporter good evening. We are in downtown santa rosa off mendocino and fifth. There are only a few restaurants and businesses open. If youve been down here, you know that, many people impacted by the wildfire. So we did find this business that was very crowded earlier. Theres still some people enjoying a nice meal here. I want to bring in the owner here. Thank you so much for letting us talk to you. Talk a little bit about why you stayed open. Yesterday everything was pretty devastating for a lot of people and there was a lot of people misplaced out of their homes and ive been through this before. Ive owned a tavern over 35 years and you cant call yourself a true neighborhood tavern unless youre open during times , just for people to get together and get information and find out they dont have tvs to watch and yesterday the coverage was really big and all the food places like you said were closed. So we set up a limited menu and we ended up feeding, you know, half the town. It was real special. A lot of people came out, was really appreciative of us being open. Reporter you said you actually ran out of food. Yes. We got down to sliced wheat, but it was nine hours into it. We were open from 11 00 until 9 00 at night and when we went out of food, pretty much everybody was done eating. So we got through it, didnt have to turn anybody away. Reporter thats pretty impressive. Your own power is out. Instead of worrying about yourself youre here to help feed others. Yeah. The wives, my two sons wives, too, they werent real happy with us, you know, not being there with them, but i was real proud of them. They came down with me all day and, you know, a lot of restaurants, they dont have that. They got a lot of employees to run restaurants. Were not a restaurant. Were a neighborhood tavern. We can run this place with three people. Reporter i 2 the to mention really i want to mention really quick you gsg7en washing dishes back there and cleaning because you dont know where your cleaning crew is. True, true. I had to get here early in the morning and clean up after sunday football last week and it was pretty dirty. I dont know whats going on. I havent been able to make contact with them. Reporter how concerned are you . Do they live in the areas where these fires have been . Yeah. I kind of think so. I dont want to assume, but yeah, were worried about them. Hes been with us for 15 years and i am concerned about him and his family. Reporter thank you so much for doing this and thank you for staying open for the community. I thank you and with a local beer . Reporter not now. I appreciate it. Thank you. Not now, though. So again there are many businesses and restaurants that are closed if youre in santa rosa and all day weve been seeing just devastation across the community and it is really sad. Businesses and livelihood, people worked so hard, their dreams going up in flames, but again its nice to have several businesses staying open and also helping the community with a place to have a great meal. Reporting live in santa rosa, matt mendez, kron 4 news. A place for people to lean on each other in hard times. A ton of vineyards have been destroyed, but how about the hilton hotel and the fountain in santa rosa. You can still see parts of the building still smoldering at the hilton hotel and how about the Fountain Grove inn also lost in the fire . 124 Room Luxury Hotel located off highway 101. The general manager posted a message online saying the inn fell victim to the devastating fire in Sonoma County. He said guests were safely evacuated, but they arent able to conduct any business at this time in any capacity. Inns historic round barn also burned Fountain Grove inns famous historic round barge, do you remember that . Just absolutely spectacular. People posed for wedding pictures in front of it. Well, that wont be happening ever again. That picture on the website is the last time well see it looking that way. Right now theres nothing left. It was completely destroyed. The round barn was built 118 years ago. And the wind, of course, at the beginning of these fires over 48 hours ago causing a lot of the big problems, but now theyve renewed with more concerns. New concerns actually. Chief meteorologist, Brittney Shipp, whats the latest . There are concerns of a red flag warning going back into effect witness at 5 00 until thursday at 5 p. M. Dry conditions are returning and our wind speeds are going to pick back up again, in fact, tone overnight into tomorrow morning well see stronger wind speeds. These will only intensify wednesday night into most of thursday and thursday evening. So the red flag warning in effect for pay lot of our higher a lot of our Higher Elevations in our north bay, east bay and south bay zones, winds 10 to 30 Miles Per Hour, a few locations gusting up to 40 Miles Per Hour, dry conditions expected, humidity levels between 10 to 20 and the wind direction is important as well because that means when it comes in from the north again by 2 00 in morning, well see more of a northerly wind direction. Thats dry air coming back in. So its going to help dry us out again, but we did manage to recover with some of our moisture and humidity levels overnight and as we go into tomorrow, things dry out again. Heres a closer look at future wind gusts. We put two models here to get a better idea how strong the wind speeds are going to be moving. 2 a. M. Were seeing wind speeds upwards of 20 Miles Per Hour near santa rosa, napa around 15. Going right into the Early Morning hours, 6 00, 7 00 through lunchtime were talking wind speeds right around 26 Miles Per Hour, close to 30 for napa. This continues throughout the entire day wednesday. By 6 00 now were up to almost 30, 35 Miles Per Hour and isolated events could push us up to about 40 Miles Per Hour. Then as we go through thursday it looks to be a bit calmer to start thursday morning, but by 5 00 we will once again see our wind speeds anywhere between 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour. Future humidity shows our humidity levels will recover again tonight up to 49 in santa rosa, up to 65 in yachtville, but tomorrow our relative humidity drops back to 18 , 15 in napa. By thursday morning things are better, up to the 30s, but heading into thursday afternoon it drops right back down again to 15 to 20 . So extremely dry conditions expected for us again. We did see our temperatures dropping today 5 to 7 degrees cooler in parts of napa. Highs around the region tomorrow mid60s for San Francisco, mid70s in napa and santa rosa. Mild temperatures expected for us which should help a little bit. We will keep you updated, but unfortunately we do expect to see another round of stronger wind overnight tonight into most of tomorrow and this extends into thursday at 5 p. M. That is when the new red flag warning expires, thursday, 5 p. M. In all 15 different fires started by the north bay firestorm. Lets get a check on some of the wildfires in napa county. The partrick fire as far as fontanelle family winery to the Nicholson Ranch burning at least 1,000 acres and is threatening 5,000 buildings. Also the atlas fire we talked so much about it burning near napa. Its right off atlas peak, 30 vineyard workers saved by a california Highway Patrol there on sunday night. That is south of Lake Berryessa going as far north as just near the black stallion winery. So far its burned 25,000 acres and destroyed 125 buildings. Here is an update on mandatory evacuation orders, just some of the areas told to evacuate in sonoma and napa counties tonight. You can see the areas marked in red and orange. Those are the areas where the fire is either threatening or active and those places include monticello park, Silverado Country Club, hardiman, mckinley and estes streets, circle oaks, buman, silverado trail from state route 128 to moskowitz street, and the atlas peak area in the berryessa area has been evacuated and highway 28 Capell Valley road is closed. All right. It is still a dangerous situation in sonoma and napa counties as well as other counties in the bay area. And one deputy from Alameda CountySheriffs Office has strong roots in santa rosa. He came back to help and kron 4s Stanley Roberts spent some time with that deputy. I spent from the age of 4 years old to probably about27 years old out here. All my friends come from here. I lost a Family Friends parent up here. Its not the way i wanted to come back home, but i know im doing the right thing. Reporter this is deputy chris dalima of the Alameda CountySheriffs Office touring the devastation of the tubbs fire. Ill let chris describe what its like to come home to this. Its hard to put in words. Its just family, friends, places where you lung out, places where you hung out, places where you were mischievous at is all gone, everything, probably one of the hardest things ive dealt with in my life and all i can think about is help out in rebuilding the community that i was once a part of when my high school burnt down. Four years, 1998 to 2002, gone. The principal, deans office, Great Teachers inside this building, just gone. Reporter so i rode around with the captain, a sergeant and chris and we all came to one conclusion, just looks like something out of a war zone. The only thing missing are the craters. This is the bay areas news station, kron 4 news starts now with breaking news. Continuing coverage of our breaking news involving the images you see on your screen right there, the firestorm in the north bay, the devastation just forcing thousands of people to evacuate their homes, 3,500 in shelters tonight. Thousands of homes and businesses just destroyed. Dozens of people remain unaccounted for at this hour and theres more bad news as winds are expected to pick back up in the next few hours. Another red flag warning is just ahead. Heres what we know. Right now the death toll has risen to 16 people. 11 of those people died in Sonoma County. Some 2,000 homes and businesses destroyed in napa and sonoma counties. Sadly, those numbers are expected to increase. Right now there are at least 183 people still unaccounted for in Sonoma County and so far the fires combined have burned more than 115,000 acres. More mandatory evacuations have been ordered. Crews have been working around the clock trying to keep flames from spreading to additional homes. As you can imagine, it is a daunting task. Tonight cal fire and other local officials talked about the challenges at a Community Meeting in santa rosa. Resources are being brought in from out of state. Were doing the very best we can with the number of bodies that we have and the number of resources we have to prioritize the parts of the fire to try and first protect lives and secondly, try and save your homes. Every firefighter out on the line is emotionally attached to that and many of them just came off the line this morning after 40 hours straight. Thats right, many crew members working 40 hours straight. The audience broke out in applause at hearing that news and appreciation as well for the hard work of the fire crews. Meanwhile also today President Trump approved governor jerry browns request for a major disaster declaration and ordered federal aid to help the state in its Recovery Efforts and tonight more people were forced to flee a Sonoma County hillside. In the Bennett Valley area where all the horses and livestock that desperately need to be put into trailers to get to safety. Ella sogomonian joins us live. There was a bittersweet ending to this story. Reporter you can imagine whats going through their mind having to evacuate looking at scenes like this, another santa rosa neighborhood in Sonoma County demolished by fast moving fires and with the winds picking up tonight its not making it easy for people to leave their homes, but they were forced to by the sight of the flames that was coming through that Bennett Valley area. Lets look at that video as people were getting into their trucks and hauling these animals into their trailers. A lot of them have horses and cattle up there. That was a really big challenge. I was told one ranchhand unfortunately got kicked in the head by the horse earlier in the morning when they were trying to prepare for evacuations long before this one was put in place tonight at 4 00 in the afternoon. Three hours after this mandatory evacuation was ordered people were still lined up at the intersection there at Bennett Valley road where deputies were unfortunately turning them away after they had missed the window of opportunity to take their trailers up and haul those animals down. Its all around the property and finally come down right directly towards us, so its time to go. So we decided ive got a couple places to go and one place for the dogs, so good and safe. Reporter tell me about the challenge of having to move a large animal like a horse and so many trailers hoping to do that, but theyve already closed it off. The owners waiting basically till the last minute and once she put the call out we had six trailers pull up on the property in 45 minutes and they were ready to haul them out. So we had no problem getting help. Reporter that is one of the Silver Linings out here in the north bay, the help that has been pouring out through the community, people coming together to give each other aid whether it be supplies or again with these people out there they were trying to bring up their trailers that didnt even have anything to do with the ranchers up there, but they made sure they provided that for the people that did need it and unfortunately they werent letting people up after 7 00 tonight. Hopefully those that were able to get up there are now down safely. One neighborhood hit the hard is thank you, ella. One neighborhood hit particularly hard is the coffey park area in santa rosa. J. R. Stone is checking the oakmont neighborhood. Lets check back with him. J. R. Reporter yeah, pam. I can tell you the big news coming in the last hour or so is the fact that fire crews confirmed to me that one home burned to the ground in this oakmont area in the far southern portion on the trail ridge section of oakmont, but again thats the far south portion. That is the only home to burn or be damaged in this oakmont area, but i can tell you it has been a busy afternoon and it has been a very busy night in this area. I do want to step out of the way and show you what were looking at here in the distance. You can see some of the fire crews there in the distance. You heard the fire horn there in the distance and then when we pan off into the right, you can see some of the fire off in the woods. Its not good news when we see Something Like that close to homes and the homes are in the area where im standing. You just cant see them because there is no electricity, but these flames are much farr from these homes than they were farther from these homes than they were earlier this evening. At one point they were between 30 to 50 feet from these homes, certainly not the case right now and the winds that we saw earlier this afternoon, not feeling those winds right now either, so definitely something to smile about in this area, but the tough news is that one home in the oakmont area did burn to the ground. Steve, pam, i want to throw it back to you before they sound that horn again. Another neighborhood hit particularly hard was the coffey park area in santa rosa. Weve been showing you the flames simply raged everywhere throughout that neighborhood. This video came from a viewer just burning everything in its path, a majority of the homes destroyed there. Spencer blake is giving us a live update. It must be eerie to be in that neighborhood tonight after the fire raged through there. Reporter it is really eerie and what adds to it is the fact there is no power, no streetlights. It is very, very dark for blocks and blocks and blocks. I want to show you how hot, how devastating this fire was. Even the bricks are falling apart. Thats intense heat when Something Like that is damaged so badly. I had to drive through a lot of this kind of destruction before i even found houses that are Still Standing. To the east of coffey park its hard to spot anything standing other than chimneys and trees. Theres no words. Its a nightmare. Its a real live nightmare. Reporter you have to go all the way over to the far reaches of hemlock, banion and sweet gum to find houses intact. As neighbors began looking for surviving items in the rubble, it was hardton if they were in the hard to know if they were in the right place. Its completely unrecognizable. You walk down the street like i know that lady has really good halloween decorations and without seeing the decorations up i didnt know it was that same lady. Its like mars. Reporter that same family wasnt sure they were digging through their own house till they found their dads metal toolbox. They just left the qrit hous while it was burning down. They were in their bath robes, grabbed their car keys, left everything behind, got in their car and drove out. Its insane, really is insane. You dont expect this is ever going to happen to you. You just kind of i dont know. I left. I saw a few houses that were scorched and i thought the best and then you come in and get to coffey lane and everything around here and its gone and to think its still going on is crazy. Reporter west of the park you have to get to barns and the Railroad Track before you find a chance of finding a standing home. The flames north of the park made it to at least crimson or so. You kind of identify whats going on and you cry a lot. Reporter if you head east of coffey park, you start to see where some homes did survive. Total destruction on hemlock. You see a house that was burned but not completely to the ground and on the corner you see a home untouched by the flames. A friend of mine called and said your house is Still Standing, but the neighbors is on fire. So we came back in and we fought it for another day. So we have our house. Reporter he realizes, though, countless of his neighbors are left with nothing. There is a little good news in all this. I talked to a lot of people in this neighborhood and there didnt seem to be any talk of missing people or injured people, which is very good news. It seems like on the whole most people got out and evacuated when they were supposed to, still just going to be hard to wrap your mind around how widespread this devastation is. Live in santa rosa tonight, spencer blake, kron 4 news. Thank you, spencer. Tonight we continue to monitor the air quality in all four of our zones. Take a look at this video. Thats amazing. Thats right here close to the San Francisco bay area and you can barely see. Its almost like the visibility a few feet down the road you can barely see anything. Our chief meteorologist Brittney Shipp is here to fill us in on air quality issues. Weve been closely monitoring it and seen some of the most unhealthy levels weve ever seen because this is one of the largest fires weve ever had in our north bay zone. Its going to take a while till we get back to healthy levels. Santa rosa on north is very unhealthy, one of the highest levels we see. Closer to the north bay unhealthy conditions expected for us. This was today and tomorrow looks similar. Moderate for our east and south bay zones. We also saw lighter wind speed, but we saw the wind direction shifting a little bit and that spreads all the smoke all around. The best thing we can hope for is to get fresh air coming in off the water, more of an onshore flow. As we push into tomorrow, well see our wind direction from the north. That is dry air once again and that northerly wind direction will blow a lot of smoke from our north bay zone into San Francisco and parts of our south bay. San francisco peninsula under unhealthy levels for sensitive groups, folks with breathing difficulties, asthma, bronchitis, lung disease. Although this drops a little for our far north bay zone tomorrow, still an unhealthy level and again if youre closer to San Francisco where lots of folks work, be very careful. Limit your outdoor activities. Try to exercise inside. Guys . Thank you. All right. Possibly the biggest concern for those not directly a eight ifed by the fire affected by the fire is poor air quality. We had tom flanagan from the bay area air quality district in our studio. I got to ask him about the effectiveness of the masks the firefighters wear and the ones consumers can buy at a local convenience store. We really home firefighters are able to get a handle hope firefighters are able to get a handle on this to stop the pollution and fires. Reporter they have particular tools to try to help themselves. Theyre Wearing Masks rated n95 and filter out 95 of the particulate pollution in the air, but still we want to see those fires end. Reporter some people dont have the again fit of that protection and still have to work outdoors. You see cranes across San Francisco. Any recommendations what people can do to protect family members . Sure. I 2 the to say the health i want to say the healthy ones of us will be okay if they stay indoors. Prolonged exposure is not advised. Shea indoors and limit physical exertion stay indoors and limit physical exertion. Their eyes will start to burn. Theyll start to cough for long term effects. Its all about sustained exposure. Hopefully by staying indoors youre able to limit that exposure. We want to stress everyone should be taking efforts to stay indoors. Stay in a place where the air is filtered and set your air conditioners to recirculate so you arent bringing in that pollution to your imdoor area. Reporter on good days indoor area. Reporter on good days you see people wearing baby masks you can get at cvs. Are they useful . Something is maybe better than nothing depending where you are, but were seeing air quality conditions change depending where you are and how close you are to the fire. So the best advice, stay indoors as much as possible. Keep the air circulating internally, if possible, as well. Well be right back after this. Valerie decker and im a troubleman for pg e. I am a First Responder to emergencies 24 hours a day, everyday of the year. My children and my family are on my mind when im working all the time. Be informed about outages in your area. Sign up for outage alerts at pge. Com outagealerts. Together, were building a better california. pam while the fires in the north bay continue to burn tonight. Some neighborhoods while the fires in the north bay continue to burn tonight some neighborhoods are eerily quiet, dusty, gray and still. We went to one area affected in napa. Reporter this is aphid off Westgate Drive which is off at a neighborhood off Westgate Drive which is off atlas peak road and behind Silverado Country Club and take a look at some of the damage as we move up the hill into the neighborhood. The first home you come to here just outside of the gate, that one is completely gone, dont see an address on it. Were going to roll through the main gate here. Silverado crest is the neighborhood here through a couple of wrought iron gates up the hill we go. On the corner here this is 120 canyon drive.
