Were in the day after christmas and were here we just confirmed that there were 3 teenagers who died in this foot hill road behind me we know that 2 of them were related their brother so 3 teenagers ers 5 teenagers in the car total, 2 of them a boy and a girl were transported to the hospital with very serious injuries they rejected from the car and survive they were brought to the hospital we have we dont have an update on the condition that lets look at the maps you can get a better idea of where were you know, robin was just talking about this crash in where it is i can see were standing live here in pleasanton at the intersection of foothill road and castle would drive this is where the road is closed as crews work to repair a power pole that was hit during the crash, its right near the castle and country club, the chp a sergeant that we just spoke with says the teens were driving southbound on for the foothill road. Last night at 10 when for whatever reason they swerved and hit a power pole and wrapped around a tree know investigators are trying to figure out why but they do not believe how all involved at this time were hearing 2 of the 3 teens who died as i said were brothers one of them could have been a cousin but they havent been able to confirm left at least 2 of the 3 who died here were brothers snow several families are mourning the loss of these teenagers apg knees here on scene as well theyve been here since last night and we just heard from the chp sergeant that they are going to have foot hill road close until 4 oclock today and that could even be pushed later because they have to order a new power pole and get this all repaired because it was quite a mess here the scene theyre still trying clean it all up.
