Thats burning in the mountains of san mateo and santa cruz counties. The s e u complex fires are in contra costa alameda and santa clara counties and the l a new complex fires. Those are the fires that exploded overnight taking a destructive turn in the north bay 80 is closed now between cherry glenn an airbase parkway in Solano County because the fire has jumped the freeway. Now we are following this raging wild wild fire that began in napa county and started moving towards back about this morning. It destroyed homes just outside the city limits. Thousands of homes are still threatened right now kron fours dan kerman is live for us now in Vacaville Dan we see the fire theyre raging behind has been a year. All day long and there are plumes of smoke just like this all over dotting surrounding the city on 3 sides right here we have some flames burning right now that was in here for the past 3 hours now the flames have started again. So far more than 4,000 people have been evacuated the fire chief is have decided as a of that fire down by the freeway to evacuate another 1000 people. This fire is far from over. Early wednesday morning, the wildfire in napa county pushed its way south towards vacaville has not very often during a career that you see walls of flame as tall as i saw yesterday and. Moving very quickly. The blaze took down numerous homes west of the city on Pleasant Valley road and forced the evacuation of 4,000 to 4500 homes inside the city in the north orchard in north alamo neighborhoods and later in the Browns Valley neighborhood to the north and the cherry glen neighborhood to the south saw that. Now as we mentioned a 4,000 to 4500 homes had been evacuated that is before jumped the freeway on i 80 now theyve added about an additional 1000 homes to that and this area. It is south of alamo from i 80 to the pew to creek and now back away shun areas that is the latest one adding an additional 1000 homes in vacaville. These fires now making are right on the doorstep there a vacaville threatening homes in and around that area theres a very populated area.
