Fog not intruding as far inland with those calming winds and tapping out of that sea breeze later on today. Its going to lauer inland temperatures to get a lot warmer. Weve ot a warmer afternoon with daytime highs inland climbing well into the 80s. If not the low 90s for a couple of our for this inland spots with some 70s along the bay shore. The clayton fire threatened many homes in this area of the East Foothills of san jose but burned 9 cal fire attributes not only the aggressive fire attack, but also the homeowners in this area for creating a Defensible Space on their properties. Saw this billowing smoke from down there, clayton road. And call the Fire Department dennis and os and his wife came home from an errand to flames roaring towards their home on clayton road and via de la vista. And it was getting pretty uncomfortable. You close fastmoving flames threaten many homes like this says. Thursday in the East Foothills of san jose, more than 70 firefighters with san jose fire and cal fire arrived quickly to get the flames under control. Aircraft flew above dropping retardant on the burning brush and helicopters dropped water. Once the fire was stopped from spreading any further. Ground crews worked to put out any hotspots. Well, looking at some 90s from antioch of tobaccoville, our first 2 spots to take a dip back into those waters.
