Are quite hour here in San Francisco. Lets go first to john shrable taking a look at the temperatures. Think it is it so much clearer than yesterday. Theres the plus from yesterday as compared to what we had for such a foggy start on your tuesday. No fog out there whatsoever. Look at the Golden Gate Bridge. Crystal clear. You see any fog where youre at. Its not going to last for long importantly. So today does get extra really high and that might make it tempting to head out to the coastline. Of course, thats why were talking those coastal advisories that we do have right now. Its 40s 50s and 60s. Nice cool. Start to the morning. Refreshingly cool considering where were heading, which is heat advisory territory starting at 11 00am north bay, east bay, all of the south bay and all the way up to the coast on the peninsula. Under these heat advisory starting today at 11 and lasting through 11 00pm tomorrow night. Possibility of some records broken the next couple of days. So of course, the idea of heading to the coast sounds especially nice specially considering its going to be the 80s out their spots like ocean beach, but do be mindful of some really high serve, especially in westerly and northwesterly facing beaches. Todays daytime highs, as i mentioned, going to be very toasty across the board. 70s to 80s at the coast in 80s to 90s. Elsewhere, ill be getting to the rest of your forecast. Still ahead, rain. All right, john, thank you for that. Well, we have some good news. Conditions are much clearer. This morning, as you can actually see, as youre making your way into the city this morning, just under 13 minutes, traveling from the maze that fremont street exit mateo bridge, a snapshot things. Theyre Clear Conditions this morning. Also just under 14 minutes as youre heading across towards the peninsula, center fell bridge 6 minutes tolls to 101. And if youre taking the Golden Gate Bridge, dont have that dense fog like we did the drive times just 18 minutes during todays back to you. Thank you. Reyna 602. And lets get back to you Team Coverage of the heat returning to the bay area today and tomorrow. Yeah. If you want to cool off at the beach. Well, you may want to think again, dangerous serve conditions are going to be. Well, lets call it life threatening for beachgoers. U. S. And around kron fours will tran is live in pacific. Go with what you need to know. I will. What you need to know is if you get wet, chances are you are just simply too close to the sneaker ways that possibly can come up. And thats why they say if you can get on higher ground, were at the pacifica pier and thank goodness im not down there right now. Look at how strong it is. Definitely dont get even closer until the sun comes up because you cant really see well at this particular time. But you can see all the sides that are washing up on the rocks and its going to be this way for the next couple of days. A lot of people will be flocking to the beach to the heat. Good idea. But you dont want a day at the beach to and tragically. So youve got to be careful when you come down here. We do expect high temperatures in london and a lot of people will be coming to the beach to see if maybe 15, 20 degree difference. Ive done it before. If you come down. Well, obviously you have to be careful, especially with the conditions and got to tell you, guys, its not just a warning for the bay area. All along the california coast for the next couple of days. So we want to pass along some safety tips to you if you are coming down. If you live in the beach community, you know what im talking about. So im probably not specifically talking to you. Its those who dont come to the beach office. So if you see, yeah, tremendous ways they looked spectacular. They can also be dangerous. So whatever you do, do not turn your back on the ocean. Make sure that you stand at the location where you are dry. Thats the rule of thumb. If your feet get wet, obviously you to close over the next couple of days. Sneaker waves have been known to drag logs from the beach into the oceans. Youve got to be careful about that. Make sure if you see somebody who is in trouble in the water, especially if youre strong swimmer, your first instinct is to go in. They say, dont do that. Just follow that person. Call 911, and hopefully rescue. Get there in time. And if youre caught in a rip side, just try to tread or float along into you. Get out of the rip tide. Is just some safety reminders because we want you to be safe. We want you to be cool. And if youre coming down, guys a little bit later this morning, just bring a sweater. Yes, is could it be warm a little bit later . But i think ive not properly dressed this morning has said about a jacket for this particular time. Im sure you can always ditch the jacket a little bit later. And of course, bring sunscreen. I just take a look at the Weather Center will looks like upper 50s right now out on the ocean where you are, ok, you will.
