As a major source of non-fare revenue, KSRTC has already launched the cargo business. “KSRTC has inducted 20 vehicles that will provide cargo services in the transport of the fast-moving consumer goods sector. With a capacity of 6-7 tons, KSRTC will look at transporting textiles, pharma, food clusters, handloom products, seeds, and tourism,” said an official.
