This has been a very long day for these rescue teams from across california and from arizona. We have crews from the city of los angeles, from the bay area and from phoenix who are at this specific location. They say they have no idea where theyre going to be tomorrow. Supporters want to remove five schools from the and then create a new School District called the north gate unified School District. They say the mount deablo is too big and not responding to the needs of schools. Critics say its an attempt for schools from walnut creek to break away from a less a fluent and racially diverse part of that School District. Given what we as a nation are experiencing related to race and ethnicity, it makes it more egregious. Theres no racism. We have a wonderful, wonderful inclusionary community.
