I tell you, this is something basketball fans were really looking forward to in particular this year. 56 different teams having a legitimate shot at winning the nba crown. The warriors were no longer near it, but a lot going on behind the scenes. Imagine the consternation with millions of dollars being lost daily, empty seats, no Television Revenue particularly from the nba. It was slated to start april 18th, just a little over couple weeks. A lot of pressure on the powers that be, but the nbas commissioner, adam silver, he seems pretty calm on the outside at least. And doesnt sound like basketball is headed our way anytime soon. That tells me there are players that are unselfish, they are willing to make sacrifices, they know there is more ceiling they can reach. For all his reason for feeling optimistic. There you go. Well as far as days of actually watching sports and having people in the stands, it seems like ages ago. Actually, its only been not quite a month yet. But we do have our memories. And every night joe fonzie is happy to recap them on this day in sports, which happens to be april seventh.
