Only 2 contained. 813 structures113 structures have been destroyed, including 80 homes, and 22,000 structures remain under threat. As you can see frost from this video, that fire racing up this mountain there and sending that huge plume of smoke into the air. With the fire still growing, there is continued concern over the fate of anguin , a Small Community in napa county. Tom, this town, too, has been evacuated . Reporter indeed its been evacuated. Its a charming place. But unfortunately its just a place thats too close to something very big. Now, as i say, its a town with a college and everything. But if you look over there, its also got a great big forest sitting right next to a beyond that row of trees is a very, very large fire. So what we know for sure is this, this is a fight to the finish, but no one knows where the finish line really is. The fight against the glass fires eastern flank took place uncomfortably close to anguin, population 3,400, already under mandatory evacuation. This is largely an intense is and relentless aerial battle, pitting aircraft against the fire that could still make its way to anguin should continues make it possible. Thats because this part of the glass fire is just too big and too close to ignore. The town is higher and a little further up the road from deer park, which was destroyed by fire coming up slope towards anguin from below. We met an evacuee who lives there, but has already been staying in the valley for the past threes. I monday afternoon, went to a mandatorthe road blasting sirens, on intercoms, announcing the situation, and they came doortodoor. Its a really hardy community, and these people are there to stay, and they live there because they like it there, and theyre willing to put up with inconveniences and things, but you have to give them some kind of situation they can handle. Reporter st. Helena is without electricity until today, due to power damage to r under an evacuation warning. Almost no businesses are open. You would love to have some business, but if its not safe for your companies, and some of our employees are evacuated. Reporter its just one more burden machine a half decade full of burdens. Well get through this, and we just want our friends to be safe. Calistoga saw its mandatory leave orders widen today. If it werent for mutual aid across the state, between states and even with other countries, the feist gains these wildfires would be hopeless, and as it is, as they gets into worse. So why arent we deploying more planes to get on these things early so they wont become these catastrophes. Seems like were light on airplanes, and ive heard reports that we are. Reporter answer so with many massive fires in so many places, Climate Change seems to have over whenned the resource resource tom, that leads me to my question. Have you seen many of the aerial resources up there in that area today . Reporter well, the ones that they were using were helicopter primarily. We didnt see any big jets or any of the s2 tangors that the state of california has. This was a helicopter thing, because they were trying to slow this fire down as much as they could, and theyre theyre doing a good job of that, but the problem in the winds pick up, theyll have to have more heavyduty aircraft involved. But with so many fires in so many parts of the state and the west in general, those resources are now very, very scarce. Yes, indeed, they are. All right, tom vacar reporting live for us this afternoon. Thank you. Well, the glass fire and a changing weather pattern brought back some smoky air to the east bay, especially today. We might be able to give you a live look here as you look out toward mount diablo. You can barely make out the mountain at this point, because you have that layer of smoke and haze there on the horizon. Lets head over to kyla grogan with a look at the changing conditions up there in the fire zone, and this red flag warning is very concerning with a fire that is basically uncontrolled. Yeah, i mean, you know, the problem is the wind keeps changing direction on them, so they have to keep changing it and get containment on it, and it becomes difficult. I want to start with the air quality. Ive been watching the air quality slide as ive been on air since noon today, and we are now that area, you can see where the red dots are, that is unhealthy air. Santa rosa is still doing okay at this hour, but napa not doing well, and concord has slid into the unhealthy zone. Not great for Sensitive Group is the orange color you see in San Francisco and redwood city. Unfortunately this is going to get worse before it gets better. So you see this clockwise circulation, and that clockwise circulation is our High Pressure, but notice the center of that. When put this forward into futurecast, it will slide slightly off the coast. You see it move over there. That is helping to drive the smoke from the fires down into the bay area. So that is why were going to see this deteriorate even further as we head over to the next 24 hours. So as you can see here, the air quality forecast gets worse for tomorrow. I wish i had better news there, but i just dont, and thats what were going to be stuck with for likely the next 48 hours or so. These are conditions where the glass fire is right now. You can see the wind is not bad right now. Five Miles Per Hour weve got 22 humidity if you look towards st. Helena and places like anguin. That is why, as we look at this map, you can see how close it is to these towns. This is where were going when we head into tomorrow. 20 to 30 mile per hour winds at elevation in and around where the glass fire is, and that relative humidity falling down into the 8 to 12 range. That is why we have a red flag warning up. Not just for the glass fire area, but for the north bay mountains, because of that wind and lower humidity. I have better news coming your way for the weekend. Ill be back with that in a few moments, but okay, kyla, thank and there is concern about the red flag weather complicating and extend hearing firefight. Lets bring in jonathan cox, cal fire deputy chief. Thank you for being here. Given what is in the forecast, what is the main priority right now . Reporter yeah, heather, rite now our priorities are really just to use this window of opportunity we have to reinforce the lines that we do have in place and prepare for that wind shift that were anticipating tomorrow. As you can imagine, we have a lot of people evacuated from a , and we want to use this time to prepare around those structures and areas that might be impacted tomorrow. We did see additional evacuation orders in napa county, with the fire activity that youre seeing today, do you anticipate additional evacuation orders . We basically had to adjust evacuations based on where the threat has been. And i dont think were out of the woods yet. Our evacuation team, our evacuee prep group that includes Law Enforcement and fire, they are constantly working with the recon shifts to see where this fire is moving in and what areas they need to get ahead of it with, as far as evacuations are concerned. With the weather come fiscal the next 24 hours, i dont think out of the question. Obviously we have multiple front on this fire. And areas were repop lating, and others were evacuating, and thats all dependnt on how the fire is behaving. Jonathan, how is the air operation going. We know this fair is burning in treacherous terrain in some areas. You have to be aggressive, huh . Yeah, we sure do. And right now our hindrance with air operations is the visibility. This smoke and the way its laying down at note. We have rotary vehicles in there, but the bad news is when that wind takes ahead, it pushes the fire at much more rapid speeds. So its a catch22 when it comes to aircraft, but were getting them into the area where and when we can at the moment. And were also learning today about a scary situation for two firefighters who suddenly found themselves entrapped and overrun by the flames. Tell us more about what happened. Yeah, so those firefighters were battling the fire late sunday night. That was the night it really made that hard push from the napa valley into santa rosa, when they were forced to make the decision to get into their fire shelter. And our fire shelters are really our survival device of last resort for when were being impacted by heat or fire conditions. Luckily in this case, the firefighters did what they were trained to do, which is use that life saving device to get in there while the fire front passed. They both survived uninjured. There was damage to investigation, but it highlights the activity were seeing out there on the lines across california right now. Its just this explosive fire behavior. Yeah, hear that those firefighters are okay. For those who might be watching us this afternoon, and anticipating the weather conditions to worsen, what is sort of your message to them, as they wait to see what happens over the next few days . Yeah, thats a great question. And what we are reiterating to everybody is we dont make decisions about evacuations lightly. We really look at when and how this fire might impact the community, and when we ask people to leave, we really, really cant ask for anything more than for people to get out of the area so that we can move and operate. A lot of these are oneway roads coming out, so meeting a fire enincoming up, it can take literally 15 minutes to turn around and find areas to pass each other. And that can affect us getting to a structure or not getting to it. So we ask you to clear out of the area if we ask, and well make every effort to protect the structures while youre not there. All right, deputy chief cox, thank you so much. Four viruses that share some of the same symptoms. So how do you know if its covid, the flu, or maybe another respiratory virus . Still to come, were going to talk with a doctor at a Bay Area Company that has developed within rapid test that can check for all of those viruses. And its been a while, several months now, but Indoor Dining and Indoor Religious Services return to San Francisco. Coming up next, why one return owner says you shouldnt get too excised about eating indoors just yet. According to state numbers released today there have been more than 810,000 cases of covid19 in our state. There were 3200 new confirmed cases yesterday. And more than 15,000 people with the virus have died in california since the start of the outbreak, including 152 more deaths yesterday. And now that San Francisco in a less restrictive orange tier, Indoor Dining has resumed with some coronavirus restrictions. Christien kafton live for us in the city where this is an enormous shift after more than six months. Christien . Reporter heather, what were talk agency bout here is the possibility of wider reopenings. People dine indoors, and religious services. It doesnt meanly flood le, tho indoors anytime soon. San francisco the first bay area county to move from red to or an in the states color coded coronavirus rating system, the mayor releasing a statement saying while the move is encouraging this does not mean we can relax. The reason we are the first urban or suburban county in the state to move to the or an level has everything to do with taking this virus seriously. Among the major expand freedoms, Indoor Dining at up to 25 capacity, top 100 people for the first time in more than six months. A restaurant our said that means only 10 or 12 people would be allowed at one time in his restaurant, not enough to reopen indoor service. Its a lot of payroll for not too many customers. Reporter restaurants are now trying to anticipate how the weather could anticipate plans for a conditioned outdoor dining. Its look like a day at a time. Right now were trying to work out something to cover the sun, like a fabric, and the heat wave, but in five or six weeks, people probably have the rainy season starting, and that will sure how well handle this. In Person Religious Services can resume again with houses of worship allowed 25 capacity or 100 people, whichever is smaller. Michael, from San Franciscos Interfaith Council said its unlikely that many house worship will move quickly to bring congregants into one location. For some of those congregations and Bay Community that have sack a mental needs, this will be very desireious for them, however, there are a great number who are hesitant and cautious to proceed. In many cases, attendance is up for houses of worship for virtual services, and he said the citys Faith Community has been working in concert with health and political leaders on developing best practices, expressing the needs of the community and facilitating communication to help the city get to where it is now. When the city declared its state of emergency and activated its community brandon, we became that liaison between the city and our citys 800 communities of faith. Reporter also some schools that have applied for permission have become limited in person instruction. That expected to expand in the weeks and months ahead. For maam families out there, people looking for outdoor preparations, play grounds are open sometimes a early as midoctober. Yeah, it is a slow crawl to anything that resembles normalcy. Christien kafton, thank you. All right. Turning our attention now to the weather. While today firefighters are catching a bit of a basic with the winds staying steady and the temperatures warm, bullpen we will see all of that change tomorrow as we have a 12 punch coming our way. The first will be the red flag warning. That is well see the wind increase at elevations around the glass fire and were talking about gusts 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour. This is not as strong of an east as the one that kicked this fire off, however, it does cause concern. Thats due to be in place until 1 00 p. M. Thursday until 6 00 p. M. Friday. The other thing is the heat. We have a heat advisory coming together. Were going to extreme temperatures. Yesterday tuexpecting 104. Extreme heat and potential records could be set as we go into taking a live look outside this is san jose, where the air is very hazy. Weve had some degradation of our air quality, not be doing great this afternoon at all. You can see in San Francisco, 86 degrees. Livermore is 100 depress. 80 in San Francisco, and 84 in oakland. This the air quality i was talking about. We started off with quite a few green dots on the map this morning, but weve moved into the unhealthy category in napa, concord, and looking at unhealthy for sense groups in places like san jose. Remember yesterday, ge, right . That southerly surge as those clouds rose up along the coastline. Were seeing the option of that now. More of a northerly component. That is going to be what will happen over the next 24 hours. Youll notice the winds will move and come out of the north and northwest as well. So overnight tonight, a little bit warmer. Hazy skies are certainly going to be with us in the overnight hour opinions 60 degrees in San Francisco. 59 in San Francisco. Check out antioch, where its going to be 73 degrees overnight. And a quick look at tomorrow. The map will light up with reds and oranges as we have that heat advisory kicking in. Well talk more about your extend forecast where i have in better news when came back in a bit. Fees, ill send it back to you. It was back to the campaign trail for both President Trump and joe biden today. Up next here on the 4, well talk to our political reporter about what if anything we can take away from the first president ial debate. President trump and joe biden are on the campaign trail today after their chaotic first debate. The former Vice President it had its whistle top train best single hour of fund raising so far after the debate last night, bringing in 3. 8 million. Today bind attacked President Trump for failing to denounce the proud boys and White Supremacist Groups. My message to the proud boys and every other White Supremacist Group is cease and desist. Thats not who we are. This is not who we are as americans. Members of the far right group celebrated its mention by President Trump. The president today claims not to know the group. He told to 0 quote stand back and stand by during last nights debate. I dont know who the proud boys are. Youll have to give me a definition, because i really dont know who they are. I can only say they have to stand down, let Law Enforcement do their work. Law enforcement will do the work more and more, as people see how bad this ement is. The president attend an afternoon fundraiser in amential suburb before holding a Campaign Rally in duluth. For more on last nights disastrous first debate, lets bring in greg lee, our political reporter. Already today we have the commission on president ial debates saying they are planning on new rules, a change in the format the next time around to try to ensure some sort of order, limit the interruptions we saw last night. Theyre even talking about potentially giving the moderator the ability to cut off a candidates mic . Yeah, alex, and the commission saying they are hoping to make these change necessary hopes of having some more orderly discussion opposed to whats we saw last night. Some of those things we kind of said in jest last night like hitting off mics and more time constants actually been considered. Xt one on october h there will be undecided voters in the audience asking direct questions, so perhaps that might lead to more civility. Both camps have to agree to any changes in the rules that are being made, and already the Trump Campaign has said the commission is making these changes to help joe biden, so some political experts have said maybe that will lead us to not have the two more debates and for some folks that were texting me last night saying do we really need to see two more like that . Yeah, theres probably a lot of folks in this country who are wondering if they have to sit through two more debates like we saw last night. All right. So obviously today as we heard President Trump taking a lot of criticism over his refusal to denounce White Supremacist Groups and even saying to the far right group the proud boys to stand back and standby. How is his Campaign Working to try to clean this up to explain what he said last night . Well, that was pretty striking last night, alex, and still the subject of many headlines today. You heard in heathers read a short time ago, the president on the south lawn saying he doesnt know who the proud boys are, saying that he always denounces quite any form of that, presumably that is white supremacists, but it is also raising the flag for some of these republican senators who came out today, senator tim scott said i think the president misspoke, hope hell clarify that, which the president obviously tried to do earlier on the lawn. And then mitch mcconnell, the Senate Majority leader saying it was absolutely unacceptable not to condemn white supremacist, so some damage control that were seeing today, alex. All right. So lets talk about joe bidens performance last night. I mean, there were some of those moments where clearly President Trump got under his skin when he called the president a clown, said he was the worst president in liftry. But obviously there were some who feel like biden didnt strike back or hit back forcefully enough at some of those attacks. I wonder what the strategy strategy was there you think for the biden camp, and do you think joe biden at the end of night did a good job job of laying out and contrasting how to he would handle the coronavirus pandemic as compared to how President Trump has dealt with this crisis . I guess short answer no, but in the time of candor that we saw from joe biden calling the president a clown, telling him to shut up, certainly that made some people cringe last night, and many hoped that he would hit back at some of those personal attacks by look at the coronavirus. That was the strategy, right . To bring all of those topics back to the coronavirus, and joe biden did that a couple of times, but probably not enough for his camps liking, and it seems that maybe he just needed a steady debate, because she up in the polls, it has en steady, so the idea was to do no harm. So joe biden had an okay night, but because expectations by the Trump Campaign and republicans had been set very low for joe biden, you know, questioning his mental acuity, joe biden and was steady last night, and i think that was enough, as you heard heather talk about again, the big donations they had last night, enough to kind of maintain the lead that he has right now, alex. Yeah, motivating those supporters to give, certainly we did see that after the debate. Well leave it right there. Greg lee, always appreciate your time, thanks. Coming up next, a were going to go back live to wine country for an update on the glass fire as yet another red flag warning is in the forecast. Also, is it flu, or is it covid19 . Now theres a new test that can get you that answer in less than an hour. Coming up, were going doctor a important medical breakthrough. Back now to our coverage of the devastating glass fire in napa and sonoma county. Firefighters continue to focus on defending homes in and around that fire zone. The fire has slowly grown in size to 48,440 acres. Some good news, though, to report this afternoon, containment is now up to 2 . However, a red flag warning is in effect for tomorrow, and that could complicate the firefight. More than 22,000 homes and other buildings are threatened in napa and sonoma counties, and already weve seen about 113 structures that have been destroyed. Among the areas threatened this afternoon the town of angwin. Tom vacar joins us from there with a live report. Tell us about the terrain. Were told its steep and rugged canyons there some obviously difficult for the firefighters to physically get to. Reporter yeah, well, where the fire actually is, as you might have seen at the top of the hour, sits on very, very steep, very high terrain. When i say steep, im saying so steep it would be difficult to put Ground Troops up there to do anything. If you could drop some up top they might make some progress, but they would be in a very bac them. E its hard to fight a fire when you only have certain tools available, and now with the coming of his red flag warning, that really worries me, because the most important factor here, we already know it dry and hot, and now were talking about a wind event, and its the wind event that makes these things go crazy, and thats when they blow up, and whether that wind blows at night or day, as long as its blowing, that is blow torch situation with the fires, and thats what angwin is facing. About two miles that way, no more than three, on a ridge on the mountain, there is a fire. And they are putting helicopters up there as much as they can to get to that fire and slow it down. Slowing it down is very important, so when the ground crews get there, they can tamp out the fire and put out the hot spots. When the winds come up, its anybodys guess how fast the fire will move. Yeah, thats obviously a big concern for crews. I know you spent the day up there talked wait resident there who was wondering about the aerial firefight, and i did have an opportunity to ask a cal fire official about aerial resources, and he said because of all of the smoke in the area, you know, the winds have lightened up, which is good, but then that means that the smoke just sort of lingers, and thats limited their ability to get as many aircraft up in the air, and thats something that youve noticed. Reporter yeah, well, two things are at work. There obviously when the smoke is there, you cant fly the aircraft, but the other fact of the matter is, the shear number of aircraft compared to the sheer number of fires in these really unusual situations, which are becoming more more common, seems to be pretty much inadequate at this point in time. The other thing is on initial attack when these fires first start, generally theyre not just big smoke bombs. That usually takes a day or two to develop. Youve seen those big 747s, and imagine there are literally hundreds of those aircraft right now sitting out in the mojave desert. Theyve been retired by the airlines, they are in perfectly good condition, but theyre not efficient for the hauling of passengers. If you were to take 6 or 10 of those, you could find the ability to arm them like those big 747s are, and then on the initial attack before the fire really belows up, you could attack that with one of those big aircraft after another after another and you could defeat these fires much earlier on in the process. There are hundreds in not thousands of retired pilots in california who would love to do this type of work, and would work an simulators to learn the nuances of what they are doing. They carry so much stuff. They carry so much site quickly, and they could be reloaded quickly. You line a parade of those things up, and its just a few mill dollars. 16. 5 billion of Property Damage in the paradise fire. Thats cheap insurance as opposed to risks even this town, which would be in the billions. But the question is do we want to spend the moneyen and in those aircraft were owned by the western states, they could be dispatched wherever quickly. They fly almost 600 miles an hour. All they have to do is reload its a thought, but its a thought outside of the box that were going to have to start considering given this chain of fairs that accept screaming to be unending. And perhaps state officials at heart were seeing this fire season will give it more consideration. Thank you, tom, reporting from angwin. As the glass fire continues to rage, thousands of people forced from their homes are anxious to get back, and today some of those evacuation orders and warnings were lifted, while other new ones went into effect today. Sarah has more. Its tough for evacuees to leave their home not know when theyll return. While some were able to get their neighborhoods already, others are being told to leave. The unpredictability of wildfires is something that north bay residents know all too well. Weve been through this many times before, and it skirt is each time. We were hopeful it would skirt us this time. Yeah, we thought it was going south rather than coming back. Reporter a new glass Fire Evacuation order this morning that covers silvi trail and highway 29. There were just a few structures that were damaged. I think there were a few that went down, but our home was unaffected, and were really greatful for that. Reporter despite losing restrictions in santa rosa, the glass fire is far from over. The number of structures threatened jumped from 11,000 yesterday morning to 22,000 by last night. Its already destroyed 80 homes and several other buildings and businesses between napa and sonoma counties. The Napa County Office of Emergency Services said fire crews assess the evacuation orders every day, but cant say yet when all warnings and orders will be lifted, and for some residents, it may just be too much to handle. So its a little bit scary. My wife and i have had some very serious conversations about the feasibility of staying in california. Coming up here on the 4, four viruses with similar symptoms. Now theres one test that can determine if a patient has the flu, covid19, or other respiratory illness. Stay with us. Were going to talk with a doctor involved in the development of this test coming up next. And extreme heat and unfortunately more wind head our way, making things for difficult for firefighters. Well talk about your extend forecast coming up. Ask it the flu, covid19, maybe another per a inventory virus like rsv . Its sure to be complicated coming up this fall asmore people start to get sick. Now a Bay Area Company, though, called sefied said they have developed a new test that detects covid19, the flu, and rsv all in the same test. These tests are expected to again shipping to clinics across the country this week with a rapid expansion through the early part of next year. Joining us to talk about this more is david persin. Doctor, good to have you on this afternoon. Thanks for your time. Good to be here. What are the benefits of testing for all of these different viruses at the same time in one test . Well, as you pointed out, we really dont know what to expect this upcoming respiratory season, but we need to be prepared for the possibility that well have viruses in circulation that are very similar in terms of how they affect the body that we need to be able to discriminate. So influenza a, b, rsv, and coronavirus, sars, all produce symptoms that are very similar, and need to be discriminated, ideally, with a rapid test that doesnt require multiple test cartridges or procedures or multiple swabs to be able to accomplish the task of diagnosissing the different types of infections. Okay. So how is this test going to be worked . Is it a saliva test . A nasal swab . And then explain, if you could for everyone, how these samples are processed so quickly. I guess the results come back maybe within 30 minutes or so . Thats right. Yeah, so the test is based on the use of nasal swabs that are unpleasant to collect, but they are very sensitive, but also it works for nasal swabs. So theres less virus indont g into the upper respiratory tract, but enable to be detect all of he viruses, you need a same level of sensitivity and sensitive technology. And the rna gets extracted from performance for the flu viruses and rsv, as well as those sample, and then amplified using a method called Chain Reaction that a lot of us coronavirus, as we got for the have heard about recent individual tests performed previously. So the bottom line is that louisiana the primary sensitive detection method for coronavirus. That same technology is being applied to the other viruses as were not sacrificing any sensitivity by combining the tests, which is really good well well, to amplify their news, i think, for all of us, sequences and report them out that we wont have to deal with separately but within the same cart raj. All right. So when you have a rapid test test like this that is trying to detect multiple viruses at the uncertainty of a false the same time, do you at all run the risk of any of those negative in the upcoming season. Yeah, it will be so important when we have the flu tests being less accurate . And what can you tell everyone season combined with the covid 19 pandemic this fall, and about the data in terms of you know, the data you found in terms of the those tests begin shipping across the opportunity this week. Doctor, really appreciate your time. Thank you for coming on today. Youre very welcome. In Contra Costa County health, Officials Say they will begin offering free flu shots to people who come in for a covid19 test at several testing sites. The Program Starts tomorrow in five locations. The county expects to expand to more sites in the future. With coronavirus overlapping with the flu season, county health Officials Say its more important than ever to get vaccinated against the flu. All right. Well, we have some things to talk about with weather that arent so pleasant, of them a red flag warning that is coming our way, for firefighters in the glass fire. Another is a heat advisory, and we also have air quality that is deteriorating. I know ive just got all of the fun stuff today. Lets go to a live look outside the planes. Obviously air quality not great today. Take a look at the map. Ive watched this degrade across the last four or five hours, and we have many spots in the unhealthy mark right now. Temperatures 72 in San Francisco. 84 in oakland. 92 in novato. So there is some heat out there. 100 in livermore. Bust that have nothing compared to what were about to see come into play tomorrow. Were go took see widespread heat courtesy of our High Pressure system that will send triple digits across the bay area. I mean, even San Francisco, not tripledigit heat, but 90 degrees. Obviously well above average, 15 to 25 degrees above average in some spots. 104 in santa rosa tomorrow, 102 in livermore. 96 in san jose. You get the idea. The heat is on for thursday. So we are under that heat advisory. It kicks in tomorrow. Starts at 11 00 a. M. And grows until 8 00 a. M. , and 15 to 20 degrees above normal. The good news here is its a oneday event. Were only under that heat advisory for tomorrow. The bad news is it is co insides with some winds that will kick up in the north bay and at the glass fire area that is going to cause a red flag warning. So we is that heat and we also have wind. You were thats not a great recipe. This isnt as a big wind event as what kicked off the glass fire. However, from 1 00 p. M. Thursday until 6 00 p. M. On friday, well have to be looking out for those winds that could gust up washeds of 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour. So this is the area where the glass fire is, buttest also, as you can see, all of the north bay mountains there so well be looking out for than lets take a look at calistoga, for example. 29 relative humidity, 91 degrees. Lets see where we are at 4 00 tomorrow, 24 hours from now. Youll see that that relative humidity is going to be in the teens, dropping a it before, and the temperature is going up to 100 degrees. Thats why the red flag warning is happening. So tonight temperatures a little warmer than they were last night, winds staying calm, though, for our firefighters, a little bit of overnight fog, but wont have much of it tomorrow morning, the way we did today. Shear is your extend forecast. I have some good news for you guys at the end that i have to give you. Check out the weekend, temperatures going down, and looks like well be much better saturday, sunday, and monday. Back to you. Its ban long six months, but Indoor Dining is back. Im in new york city. How restaurants are getting creative and seeking the help of corporate sponsorship to stay afloat. Thats next. And coming up at 5 00 tonight, Oakland Police investigating 7 home sides, including the killing of a teenager. How police are responding to the recent violence. Also, investigating the cause of the devastating glass fire. The remote napa valley vineyard cal fire officials are focusing on, and taking a look for answers. Well have these stories and a lot more coming up in just a few minutes at 5 00. 10th starting today, restaurants in new york city can open up for Indoor Dining at 25 capacity, but if that enough to stay in business . We have a report from a manhattan restaurant. Reporter we know this industry has been hit hard, and now here in new york city, theres another uptick of cases, so Business Owners are lord might be a second lockdown, and that would be a death blow to the establishments. Some restaurants need to get creative and reimagine the business model. This Upper East Side michelin star dining room sought the help of Luxury Brands to sponsor the restaurant. They have changed the decor, the uniforms have been updated thanks to brands like evian water and many other undisclosed amount of money to restart the Indoor Dining experience. The chef of this restaurant has dozens of restaurants around the globe and said she in survival mode. Little by little, we have reopened the restaurant, but its a disaster, and not only for me, its a disaster for any small businesses.
