Nate has winds of 07 miles an hour so still a rather strong Tropical Storm but it is moving very quickly to the north northe at 23 miles an hour, it will continue to weaken throughout the daytoday and eventually become a remnant low has we head into monday and that is where we will see impact in the midatlantic and northeast in the form of maybe some heavy rainfall at times. A threeyear old boy is recovering today from burns after falling into a bond fire , this accident happened just after 9 00 last night on the 800 block of allentown road, that is in franconia township montgomery county. Nate came a shore near biloxi, mississippi first storm to hit the state since Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. Nate made its first u. S. Land fall last night in the sparse ly populated part of louisiana, even though nates not as strong as other hurricanes this season emergency officials warned about the storms dangers. You could see a storm surge up to 10 feet, isolated tornadoes, inland flooding and flooding of low lying coastal area. Injuries or deaths have been not reported, louisiana, mississippi, alabama, are all in a state of emergency right now. Evacuations and curfews are in effect. Nate is the third hurricane to hit the u. S. Mainland in three weeks. Closer to home one person is hospitalized after a fire in northeast philadelphia. This is on the 3,000 block of treemont street. Crews got the fire there under control just after 6 15 this morning. It is not clear how badly that person was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Investigators are still searching for motive in the deadly Las Vegas Mass Shooting a gone man opened fire on a cops concert and killed 58 people a week ago today. Yesterday mike pence visited a memorial to the victims. He and his wife laid flowers and crosses for each of the victims. Federal agents are now clearing backpacks and belongings from the place where that concert took place. People who were at that concert left those things behind when the gun fire erupted. Meantime people all across the country continue to remember the victims, and the cathedral of saints peter and paul held a special mass in their memory last night. Shes so sweet. She came here in the summer. Spent summer in the shelter hospital getting medical a treatment and just made available for adoption.
