Coun. Steven Wilder supported the decision but said, “it doesn’t mean we go ahead with the new town hall. It means we have the study.”
Said Coun. Kirk Walstedt, “It’s tough economic times. I think we need to put the whole project on hold.”
Several councillors were hesitant despite being told that the current town hall doesn’t have enough space to bring all the town’s staff back after the pandemic.
