LISBON — A Leetonia-area businessman is the person who purchased the former Sparkle supermarket after it closed Oct. 31.
Center Commerce Development LLC purchased the 24,000-square-foot building and accompanying 3.8 acres at auction on Nov. 20 for $363,000, according to Columbiana County auditor records. Articles of incorporation creating Center Commerce were filed Dec. 21 with the Ohio secretary of state.
Center Development’s agent is listed as Thomas E. Eastek Jr. of Leetonia. According to his Linked-In page, Eastek is president of a trucking company, an option trader, member of E Squared Holdings and manages self storage units and single and multi-family housing units.
