Legislative committee endorses bill that would authorize pay bump for state employees

LITTLE ROCK -- The Legislature's Joint Budget Committee on Wednesday endorsed a bill that would authorize state employees to receive "a market adjustment" to their base salary of up to 3% of the employee's base salary in the coming fiscal year.
