Covid is touching everyone and everything in one way or another, and the library is not an exception. The doors closed Tuesday and will remain closed until Jan. 2, according to director Anne Lowery.
She said a staff member became ill and others were quarantined, so it was best for all concerned, including the public, to shut down for a couple of weeks. She asked anyone with materials to be returned to please hold them until January.
She and the staff wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy 2021.
Cub Scout Pack 217 is helping the Salvation Army collect goods for families. They are looking for toys and clothes, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies and other items for families.
