Linn County board recommends 7 percent raises for elected officials

While Linn County faces spending cuts as the impacts of tax reform upend its budget, the panel that recommends pay rates for certain elected officials last week suggested bumping salaries 7 percent across the board -- higher than the 4 percent increases the Board of Supervisors plans to award.
