CONOR Masterson made his debut for Swindon Town on Saturday as they earned a point away at Charlton Athletic in Sky Bet League One.
The young Irishman played all 90 minutes and helped them race into a two-goal, first-half lead at The Valley. Charlton – who did not have Paul Smyth in their matchday squad – fought back after the break to earn a share of the spoils, however.
Masterson could make his home debut for Town when they host Plymouth Argyle at the County Ground on Tuesday night.
Also in League One, Mide Shodipo started and played 88 minutes of Oxford United’s 2-0 victory over Bristol Rovers on Saturday. The win was Oxford’s sixth victory in a row and they could make that seven when they head to Rochdale on Tuesday.
