The combination of the state's 10 p.m. curfew and COVID-19 in general have put the kibosh on most public New Year's Eve celebrations this year.
But for those still itching to go out and party, here are a few options. Those attending will need masks.
"We're going to be open to give people something to do, a place to go, something interesting," said Julie Myers, co-owner of the new Rack It Up arcade at 3208 Whipple Ave. NW in Plain Township. "With a 10 o'clock curfew, I'm sure a lot of businesses aren't going to do their normal New Year's Eve with champagne toasts."
