LSU law professor: Shreveport judge should have recused himself from lover's cases

SHREVEPORT – Shreveport police reportedly are investigating whether longtime Shreveport City Court Judge R. Lee Irvin's girlfriend received preferential treatment in his courtroom but a Louisiana State University law professor recently said Lee should have done the obvious.
