Adam Lonergan has been jailed
A MAN who was part of a massive drugs supply plot has been jailed after an international police operation targeting criminals who used a mobile encryption service.
Adam Lonergan, 30, of Rydal Avenue, Prescot, was sentenced to 11 years eight months in prison at Liverpool Crown Court for conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
Evidence showed Lonergan used the handle 'Sickmallet' on the encrochat system to help distribute large quantities of Class A and B drugs across Merseyside.
After an extensive police investigation Lonergan was arrested on Tuesday, March 16 and officers found a significant quantity of cash at his home address.
