Man dies in Brooklyn holding cell after being revived twice with Narcan following arrest

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man died in a Brooklyn holding cell hours after he was arrested for impaired driving and revived twice with Narcan on Staten Island on Thursday, police said.
Angelo Degracia, 42, was arrested on Forest Hill Road in New Springville around 12:45 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, driving without a license and refusing to take a breath test, according to police.

Police said Degracia, of Staten Island, had collided with several parked cars in the area and was “somewhat unresponsive” when EMS arrived at the scene.
