According to reports, a Georgia man is facing 20 years in prison for setting a woman's home and car on fire after she rejected his advances.
Jerel Jay Wilson, 29, was found guilty Monday on all counts of arson in the first degree, arson in the second degree, and simple battery. Wilson was arrested back in 2018 for his Sept 11 attack on the woman: First, Wilson broke into the woman's apartment and set fire to her bedroom, and physically attacked her as she exited the burning home. The second attack occurred in a hotel parking lot where Wilson found the woman. He again physically assaulted the woman and set her car on fire.
