KOTA KINABALU: A man was interrogated by police for allegedly claiming on Facebook that he was falsely tested positive for Covid-19 at a government health clinic.
Labuan OCPD Supt Ahmad Jawila said the man, 22, had claimed that he had been given a pink wristband and asked to self-quarantine after being tested positive, only to then find out that he was negative when he got tested again at a private clinic later the same day.
"The man also said
‘mainan dunia penuh fitnah semata’ (games of the world full of slander), and
‘Mat Hari Raya dunia tipu-tipu' (Selamat Hari Raya fake world) in the post," he said in a statement.
