PARTS of Swindon have seen the number of new coronavirus cases double, though some areas have still had fewer than three within a week.
The government's interactive map uses figures from the seven days leading up to June 28 to determine the extent to which Covid-19 cases are rising or falling in different parts of the borough and beyond.
Places that had managed to keep the number of new cases suppressed to a low level, like Walcot East, Cricklade and Ashton Keynes, Lydiard Millicent and Purton, and Gorse Hill - saw a sharp rise in new Covid cases though overall numbers remained small.
