Marine Corps' proposal grows budget by 2% but cuts active-duty force by 1,500

The Marine Corps is asking for $50.34 billion in fiscal year 2023, which would invest in multiple modernization projects but shrink the active-duty force by about 1,500, according to the proposed budget released Monday.
