Mass. fails to prepare educators on how to teach reading in an evidence-based manner, new report shows

The report, which comes as reading instruction remains a hotly debated topic nationwide, ranked Massachusetts 35th for teaching new educators how to instruct students on phonics, vocabulary, and other core components of reading.
