To the Editor:
I attended the recent online forum held on March 31 about Consumer Choice Aggregation that will be a warrant article in the upcoming Medfield Town Meeting in May. I have to say that I learned a lot about this topic, which I really appreciated because this is something I knew very little about.
The forum was hosted by Medfield Environment Action and the Medfield Energy Committee, and the main presenter was from Green Energy Consumers Alliance -- all people who know what they are talking about.
Basically, CCA is a way for the town to do "bulk-buying" of electricity, thus saving money, and that electricity is from green renewable sources in New England. In short, this plan would overall save cost, and very importantly, help against climate change.
