Media ‘desperately dragging’ Albanese to be competitive before election27/01/2021|5min
The media has showed how it's “desperately trying to drag” Anthony Albanese to a point of being competitive for the election, when he was not asked a single question about a Labor Senator calling Australia Day a celebration of white supremacy.
Labor Senator Sue Lines has come under fire for claiming Australia Day celebrates white supremacy, but the opposition leader was given no opportunity to respond during a press conference in Canberra on the national day.
Sky News host Paul Murray said it was absurd how members of the Canberra “bubble” did not ask Mr Albanese about the Senator’s comments which are “the most extreme version” of anti-Australia Day beliefs.
