FOLLOWING news the nation was being locked down for a third time to address the growing Covid crisis, the overriding message from police and local authorities is to ‘stay at home’.
The leader of Craven District Council Cllr Richard Foster told people to ‘act as though they had Covid-19’ and ‘play their part’ by staying home.
He said: “The situation nationally is extremely serious and the numbers of Covid-19 cases are rising rapidly in Craven, as they are across the country.
“I know another national lockdown is very difficult for residents and businesses.
“The Government guidance about support for businesses is still being finalised and we will get this to you as soon as possible over the coming days, as we know many will be desperate for financial support.
