Flatiron to open May 3, offer ‘laid back’ menu in ex-Union Common space
The owners of Sylvan Park’s answer will open on May 3 a restaurant called Flatiron, to take the space of the Midtown building located at the Broadway and Division Street split.
According to a release, Chris Raucci and Victoria Rothberg plan for the restaurant to offer a menu with a mix of "American classics and modern fare.” Located at
1929 Broadway, the building was last home to steakhouse Union Common. Nashville-based Hill Realty has owned the building since 1941 and terms of the Flatiron lease and a cost to get operational not being disclosed. Adjacent to the building is the structure home to Two Boots Pizza, which previously housed The Great Escape.
