St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota National Guard soldiers that were deployed to Washington D.C. for the presidential inauguration are returning home this weekend.
Learfield Wire Services is reporting that 400 of the National Guard members are scheduled to arrive in Minnesota on Saturday and another 350 are due to return on Sunday. They were among the over 26,000 National Guard troops that were activated for the security mission in Washington D.C. following the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
